Meet Our Instructors:
Beth Barbeau, BS, is a Traditional Midwife, Childbirth & Breastfeeding Educator, and an Instructor in the Holistic Labor Companion program at the Naturopathic Institute (N.I.T.E.) in Mt. Pleasant, MI. With nearly 20 years of experience in the field of birth and infant/child care, she is also the owner of Indigo Forest.
Krista Dragun is certified Birthing From Within mentor, mother, and birth & postpartum doula.
Linda Diane Feldt has been providing an integrated approach to holistic health care in Ann Arbor for over 25 years. In addition to her training and certifications in Massage, Polarity Therapy, Cranialsacral Therapy and Herbology, Linda Diane has used her extensive expertise at nearly 150 births, worked with hundreds of newborns and babies individually, and authored three books, including Massage: Learning to Give and to Receive.
Cynthia Gabriel, Ph.D. is a Medical Anthropologist, doula, educator, author & mother, who’s recently published book is Natural Hospital Birth: The Best of Both Worlds.
Nancy Harknett is a Practitioner and Master Teacher of Reiki for 17 years, is a student in the Certified Clinical Aromatherapy program, and a practitioner of Young Living Oils since 2002.
Keleigh Lee is a Workplace Lactation Specialist trained by the US Department of Health Resources and Services Administration as part of the Business Case for Breastfeeding initiative. She has been working with employers and employees to ensure breastfeeding success through the Washtenaw County Breastfeeding Coalition, is a La Leche League Leader, and brings her expertise, compassion and experience as a working mother of four directly to mothers to help them prepare for their ultimate balancing act.
Rebecca Morse, has been ‘cheerfully attaching parents & babies’ since she fell in love with babywearing after the birth of her first child in 2007. Now the mother of 3 and graduate of the extension of the Clau Wi babywearing school in Germany, she offers personal consultations as well as guiding the vibrant gatherings of Ann Arbor Babywearers of Ann Arbor.
Nicole Paquin, C.T.N., is a graduate of and instructor at the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education in Mt. Pleasant, MI. She is nationally certified by the American Naturopathic Certification Board, and has a private Naturopathic Practice in Ann Arbor, MI.
Juliana Sanchez is a natural health educator, student of the Certified Traditional Naturopathic Program of N.I.T.E., and mother, providing comprehensive naturopathic consultations in addition ot managing Indigo Forest.
Jahmanna Selassie is a birth & post partum doula, massage therapist, aspiring midwife, mother of six, and has a special interest in the uniquely revitalizing qualities of ayurvedic postpartum care.
